A vision for a Freer, Safer, and Happier World…

About the Award

I am in the early stages of creating a charitable scholarship foundation in my daughter’s name. What makes this award different is that it looks at applicants more holistically than typical scholarships, and it comes with my personal mentorship and coaching.

My mission is to contribute to making positive impacts in our communities by supporting and mentoring exceptional young adults who are demonstrating commitment to caring for their society.

My goal is to have 2020 be the inaugural year when the first award will be given.

My intention for year one, is that the award will come with a $2000 monetary prize, and monthly one on one or by phone mentorship and coaching with me for one year.

Overtime, the number of awards and size of the awards will grow. However, as the saying goes, we all must start somewhere.

Selection Criteria

The type of people I am looking to give this award to take many different shapes and forms. In the application, I will be looking for applicants’ character, insight into life, coachability, emotional intelligence, and demonstrated success academically, athletically, and in community work. How applicants balance their care of their personal well-being and their care of their communities is a factor I am looking for as well.

Illustrating one’s ability to over come hardship to show one’s resilience, optimism, and grit are characteristics that I am looking for in the award winner.

Financial need is a consideration but not the deciding factor.

Ultimately, I am looking for promise and likelihood that by supporting the award winner it will help them help more people and thus that create a larger ripple effect of positive impact.

At this point I am offering this award to applicants who are students or young professionals under the age of 30.

No one is everything perfectly. Please when you apply, share as much of you as you can, while accepting that people are not perfect in all areas.

If you or someone you know is compelled by this mission, please reach out to connect. Soon I will be looking for support in spreading the word and for charitable donations.
